Harlon E. Easter, a resident of Stevens County for 40 years, passed away at the age of 70 on Jan. 20, 2010 in Colville.  Harlon was born Nov. 13, 1939 in Benton, Arkansas.
Harlon was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln Easter and Julia Fite Easter of Arkansas; his wife, Sharon Easter; his daughter, Tammy Law, both of Spokane.
Harlon is survived by his son, Tim Easter and wife Lydia, Spokane; his daughter, Tina Stiles, Spokane; his grandsons, Steven Piper and wife Chandra; Mike Piper, Tony Piper and Joshua Law; his great-grandchildren, Sierra Brock, Colin Piper, and Caleb Piper, all of Spokane; his sisters, Barbara Easter, Northport; Vicki Reichert and husband Charles, Colville; Joy Flanagan and husband Chris, Chowchilla, CA; and his aunt, Dorothy Sandoval of California, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Harlon enjoyed fishing and camping.  He owned Easter’s Septic Service for over 20 years.  He was involved with AA in Stevens County for about 11 years.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Harlon will be laid to rest at Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville.  Graveside service will be Thursday at 11 a.m.
