The annual celebration will be Saturday, Oct. 3 from 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. the following morning. A pancake breakfast kicks the day off at 8 a.m., followed by the parade at 10:30 a.m.
There will be food and craft vendors, live music, beer garden, and a kids’ carnival throughout the town’s nine-acre park adjacent to Highway 25. The star attraction, of course, is the Ciderclops, a massive cider press built by the late Dennis Jensen. The giant press scoops, crushes and transports hundreds of pounds of apples for cider each year.
