4-H County Activity Day - June 16
On June 16, Stevens County 4-H will sponsor County Activity Day at the Colville City Park from 9 a.m. to noon. The program is open to all 4-H members and other school-aged youth.
County Activity Day begins with 4-H state qualifying judging contests from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. for foods, clothing, and garden projects. Judging contests will be followed by several Natural Resource-themed activities including activities from the National Park Service, fishing-related fun presented by the Stevens County Conservation District, shooting sports and an outdoor themed craft.
“This is a great opportunity to learn more about 4-H and the natural resource projects available,” said Shannon Rowley, WSU Stevens County Extension 4-H and Food Sense Programs.
There is no cost to attend. 4-H membership is not required to participate, Rowley noted.
However, 4-H membership is required to advance to state level judging.
