Christopher Clash

Christopher J. Clash, a resident of Spokane, passed away on Jan. 23, 2014 in Spokane at the age of 50. Chris was born on Sept. 30, 1963 in New Jersey, the son of C. Henry and Jean V. Clash.Chris was raised and began school in Roselle, N.J. At the age of 10, he moved with his family to Woodcliff Lake, N.J. and graduated from Pascack Valley High School. Following high school, Chris attended DeVry University in Woodbridge, NJ where he graduated with a degree in information technol¬ogy. Degree in hand, he began working for Computerland, which led to a succession of work opportunities throughout the years. In 2004, Chris moved to Spokane to be nearer to family. He was offered a job at the PitneyBowes Company, where he en¬joyed working for the past 10 years. Chris had a great appreciation for the finer things in life. He enjoyed keeping up on all of the new electronic phones, lap¬tops, computers, stereo equipment and gadgets. Chris was also an avid computer gamer who enjoyed watching movies and advancing his culinary abilities. His wonderful sense of humor was complimented by his quick wit. Chris loved to talk and meet new people. His friendly character, creative nature and intelligence will be fondly missed.Chris was preceded in death by his parents.He is survived by his brother, Michael Clash and his wife, Joan, Evans, Washington; sister, Cassandra Hastedt and her husband, Jim, Evergreen, CO; nieces, Courtney Stern and Heather Blythe; and a host of friends.A graveside service and ash committal was held Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Mountain View Park Cemetery in Colville.
