CHS Equestrian Club season opens March 18-20 in Wenatchee

The Colville High School Equestrian Team is working hard to compete in the first District One WAHSET meet of the season in Wenatchee on March 18,19,20. This is the seventh year that CHS riders will be competing in Perform­ance, Gaming and Cattle events.
Returning rider Serina Bow­lin will be competing in Per­formance classes, which in­clude Hunt Seat Over Fences. New members Keilah Smith, Natalie Gumm and Kendahl D’Uva round out the Performance riding classes. Gaming events riders returning are Mary Larsen, Emily Blanchard, Kialeeh Harris, Keyrsten Stinson, Madison Moorhead and Karsyn Pierce. Joining the group for Gaming and cattle events are new members, Brianne Blanchard, Kamryn Curtiss, Natalie Gumm and Madison Sphuler.
The 13 riders participate in team events as well as five individual events.

The CHS Equestrian Team will host a Spaghetti dinner and auction fund-raiser Saturday, March 26 at the Ag. Trade Center on the Northeast Washing­ton Fairgrounds (5 p.m.).
