Colville splits matches

Colville High (4-4) split a pair of Northeast A League volleyball match-ups last week. The Indians started the week back on Sept. 27 with a sweep of host Chewelah, 25-23, 25-16 and 25-20.
On Thursday in Colville, the Indians fell for the second time this season to Deer Park. The Indians won the opening game, 25-16, before the Stags regrouped and won three straight—25-17, 25-18 and 25-18.
CHS will host Riverside on Tuesday before traveling to Newport on Thursday. Both matches start at 6:30 p.m.
Colville will be in the field of the 64-team Sheridan Classic in Spokane on Friday and Saturday.
