Colville will battle for another NEA pennant

Second year head coach Rob Henry has all the components in place for another run to regionals.
“This group has a lot of potential,” Henry said of a team that has only four seniors. “If we play the baseball we are capable of, we will be in the hunt. We have the talent…we are just untested.”
Henry isn’t positive, but he thinks the NEA will get three berths to the State 1A regional instead of two this spring.
Henry thinks the league will be more competitive than it was last season. There are more teams with good pitching, for one thing.
“You have to go with Freeman at the top,” Henry figured. “They have a lot of kids back off that Final Four team and very good pitching.”
