Colville's wastewater treatment plant receives awards

For four years in a row the Colville Wastewater Treatment Plant has received an Outstanding Performance Award from the Washington State Department of Ecology.

Kim Prisock, an environmental engineer in the Ecology department's water quality program, presented the Colville Wastewater Treatment Plant with Outstanding Performance Awards for 2015 and 2016 at the August 22 Colville City Council meeting.

Out of approximately 300 wastewater treatment plants statewide, Colville's was one of 108 that achieved full compliance with its National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit in 2016.
