Easter Egg Hunt at fairgrounds

The Colville Elks Lodge, Colville Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs are hosting the Easter Egg Hunt at the Northeast Washington Fairgrounds Saturday, April 15 at 10 a.m, rain or shine.

Like previous years, ages will be divided: 1-3-year-olds, 4-6 and 7-10. Children must bring a container to carry found eggs in.

Some of the eggs will have special prizes.

Volunteers are needed to help put on this large scale event. This Friday, April 7, an egg stuffing party will be held at the Elks Lodge, 861 E. Hawthorne Ave., Colville, starting at 5 p.m. A spaghetti dinner will be provided.

Volunteers will also be needed at 8 a.m. on April 15 to help hide eggs. Last year’s egg hunt had over 15,000 eggs to hide, so many hands are needed.

Call Lori Matlock, fairgrounds manager, at (509) 684-2585 to offer assistance or if you have questions.
