Haskell to retire

Longtime Statesman-Examiner advertising manager is retiring.
After nine-and-a-half years, Bonni Haskell, 61, of Chewelah, is retiring.
She started as an advertising representative in February 2009 and became advertising manager in March 2012.
“I’m going south, where it’s warm, to be with grandkids,” Haskell said of her retirement.
Bonni and her husband, Dave Haskell, have four children and nine grandchildren. They have been married 41 years.
“I’m going to start a new adventure with my husband,” Haskell said. “It’s one of those circle-of-life things. It’s going to be just us again — just like it was at the beginning.”
The retirement means changes at the Statesman-Examiner.
