Colville program host’s camp

COLVILLE—The Colville wrestling program will host its annual K-12 wrestling camp June 27-30 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Colville High School wrestling room.
The camp will focus on the skills and techniques needed to be a successful wrestler at all levels.
CHS wrestling has become one of the premiere high school wrestling programs in Washington. The Indians have put together three straight top four finishes. CHS has been runner-up the past two seasons to Northeast A League rivals Freeman and Deer Park.
“One of the many factors that has led to this success is the strength of Colville’s youth wrestling programs,” explained wrestling parent and youth wrestling coach, Tom Baun. “As that successful tradition continues to build in the wrestling community, Colville will return three state champions who will be at the camp, along with other returning state placers.”
The camp will also include the CHS coaching staff and coaches from the highly successful youth wrestling programs.
Each camper will have the opportunity to develop their wrestling skills and earn a T-shirt.
Camp cost is $30. Sign up time is the first day of camp on June 27 at 5 p.m. in the CHS wrestling room.
