Four Red Zone defensive stops and an opportunistic offense combined to throttle Reardan and lift Kettle Falls to a hard-earned 20-7 Northeast 2B Homecoming win over visiting Reardan (2-3, 2-3) last Friday night.
Senior tailback McKay Knowlton scored on runs of 79 and five yards and the Bulldogs’ rubber-band defense thwarted the Indians on several occasions.
“We had at least four defensive stands in the Red Zone,” figured first-year KFHS head coach Loren Finley. “That was really big. The kids played a great defensive game.”
