Kettle Falls Quilt Show July 4-8

The Kettle Falls Historical Center {KFHC) is hosting a Quilt Show Tuesday, July 4-8. Quilts are from local and the Rice Bowl quilters.Times are 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. July 4-7 and from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on the July 8. There will be an antique quilt on display, made by Elsie Hergesheimer in 1969. Hergesheimer made many quilts and never used a sewing machine, but instead made perfectly spaced and sized stitches.

There will also be a Quilt raffle for a quilt made my Butch Bovan, titled Horse Feathers. It won third place at the Colville Piece Makers 2016 Quilt show, Modern, Art in the any technique category. Tickets are $5 each, or five for $20, and are available at the KFHC or from board members and volunteers.
