Lady Bulldogs 1-2 in first week

A busy opening week of the 2015-2016 high school girl’s basketball season saw Kettle Falls play well at times and not so well at others.
Kettle used a 20-10 third quarter run to fuel a 57-51 win against Selkirk. A frustrating 49-45 non-league loss at Tonasket last Saturday night and a mostly well-played 48-40 loss on Thursday night at Kettle Falls Middle School to Class 1B power Republic.
Kettle Falls will travel over Sherman Pass to Curlew on Tuesday for a non-league date with the Northeast 1B school. Game time is 4:45 p.m.
On Friday, KFHS will host Davenport in the first Northeast 2B game of the season. Game time is 6 p.m. against the Gorillas.
Kettle Falls will travel to Wilbur-Creston on Saturday for a 6 p.m. game in the NE 2B.
