Spokane Home Builders Association awards checks

The Spokane Home Builders Association (SHBA) handed out over $33,000 in reimbursement checks to chapter members of the Tri-County Home Builders Association last Wednesday through their incentive Return on Industrial Insurance Program (ROII). The total amount in checks distributed from the Department of Labor and Industries through SHBA for the whole Association (Spokane, Tri-Counties, Grant, Whitman and Adams counties), was $1.8 million.

Local Tri-County members who received checks included Colville Construction Company Inc; Dan R. Dalton, Eagle Foundation and Construction Inc; Floener Electric, Loon Lake Sand & Gravel LLC, Norstar Heating and Cooling Inc; Smith Construction, Wilder Construction LLC and Woodcrafter.

Since 1947, the Spokane Home Builders Association has worked to promote, protect and educate the local building industry by providing benefit programs, networking opportunities and government representation to builders, developers, sub-contractors, suppliers and industry service providers in seven Eastern Washington counties.

SHBA is the second largest Home Builders Association in the state and serves nearly 700 member businesses by representing all facets of the building industry: contractors, realtors, suppliers, architects, rental agencies, excavators, plumbers, electricians and financial institutions.
