Have you wondered what internet options are out there? Are you a small business worried about cyber security? Is this your third computer you have demolished thanks to downloading a virus? Then the Tech Expo is the event to attend.

The Tech Expo will be held at the Community Colleges of Spokane-Colville Center on Thursday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is free.

There will be a variety of booths and learning options available. Explore broadband options with Internet service providers. Help map internet availability and speed in Stevens County. Learn how to protect data and computers whether you are a business owner or simply a computer user.

Throughout the day, there will be a variety of guest speakers and workshops.
Keynote speaker Paul Carugati will present at 12:15 p.m. on the threat of social engineering, review real world examples of common cyber-attacks, and talk about how next generation skills are necessary to defend corporate and personal assets in the digital world.
