Arlene Olivia Funk Schnell

Arlene Olivia Funk Schnell was born on February 22, 1954. She passed into the next life on June 2, 2026. Arlene was born in Umatilla, Oregon, to Walter Douglas Funk and Lois Jean Graves. She is survived by her daughter Tessie Miller, her grandchildren Cailen, Braiden, and Manessa. 

Her deceased son Michael’s children, Blaine, Nathen, Kirsten, and Keyrstan. Her sister Margarie Hill and husband Mike. Arelene has been a member of the Colville community for the past 27 years. She did volunteer work at a local church and its clothing bank. 

She was a Jesus follower and had a deep love for Israel and her people. She donated her time and money to many in need and always had a listening ear and a lot of advice. She loved fishing and being outdoors. She was an accomplished poet with several publications. She loved yard sales but gave most things away. Unfortunately, she lived the past three years with a broken back and didn’t get outside much anymore.
