TENTATIVE AGENDA – STEVENS BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS (BOCC)
ACRONYMS: A list can be located on the County website under Commissioner’s Documents.
REGULAR MEETINGS: The regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners of Stevens County, Washington are held
between 9:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, in-person at 230 E. Birch Avenue, Colville, Washington. Effective July 1,
2026, the regular meetings of the Board of County Commissioners of Stevens County, Washington will be held Monday through
Tuesday of each week between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., unless a County holiday falls on such a day in which case the regular
meeting shall be cancelled. Wednesday – Friday will be reserved for attending externally hosted meetings and hosting work sessions
or workshops where action is not anticipated to be taken. Hearings will be accessible in person and virtually. Requests for virtual
access to regular meetings are to be sent at least thirty (30) minutes prior to that meeting; the times listed are approximate.
REQUESTS: Weekly agendas are prepared for the previous week with known and anticipated Board business listed. All people
desiring to introduce an item for Board discussion are requested to submit the issue to the Clerk of the Board, along with a
completed Meeting Engagement/ Agenda Request Form, no later than 12:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the meeting,
unless otherwise noted. Please see BOCC Policy 2025-01 for general meeting and engagement guidelines. The Board may add
and/or delete or act on any item not included on the agenda subject to the Open Public Meetings Act (OPMA). Any subject placed
on the agenda may be acted upon by the Board. Agendas are posted on the County website and are available via E-notifications.
ACCOMMODATIONS: The Commissioners’ Office is ADA accessible and located at 230 E. Birch Avenue in Colville; the
mailing address is 215 S. Oak, Colville, WA 99114. For special services, please call (509) 684-3751 on the Thursday preceding the
meeting. Any individual who would have difficulty attending a meeting by reason of disability, limited mobility, or for any other
reason that makes physical attendance at a meeting difficult, may request to observe or provide oral comment remotely; written
comments provided via mail or e-mail are welcome.
