A career fair took place at Kettle Falls High School on March 18, with a big turnout from local businesses. According to Kettle Falls High School Registrar Connie Brozik, representatives from the local businesses addressed the students during the event. “We had a fantastic turnout of 30 businesses,” Brozik said. “Our students were engaged and excited, and we're so grateful to the businesses, our local colleges and the military for the ongoing support of our Kettle Falls School District and community.”

Businesses at the event included Avista, Boise Cascade, CCD Electric, Colmac Industries, Columbia Cedar, Corebridge Financial, Department of Natural Resources, Echo Ridge Veterinary Hospital, Inland Imaging, Kettle Falls Pharmacy/Valley Drug, Kettle Falls Police Department, Rural Resources, NEW Health, Northside Heating and Cooling, Over the Moon Massage, Protection Plus Powersports, TJ’s Bar and Grill, Stitch and Ink Studio, and Skindawg Log and Equipment Hauling.

Representatives from colleges such as Central Washington University, Eastern Washington University, University of Idaho, University of Washington, Washington State University, Spokane Community College, and Whitworth University were also in attendance at the event. Military personnel representing the Army, Air Force, and the Air National Guard were also in attendance. “We had a great turnout. The kids loved it. It was packed with nice energy; happy energy,” said Brozik.
