Colville secured two victories in three matches last week, showcasing both offensive firepower and resilience.
The Crimson Hawks opened the week with a 4-2 win on the road at Lakeside on March 31, led by a dominant performance from Ari Stewart who recorded a hat trick; finishing with three goals on five shots on goal to pace the attack. Parker Sackman played a key role in the win, tallying two assists and providing a physical presence throughout the match as Lakeside applied early pressure.
Trent Rarrick added a goal to extend the lead, finishing off an assist from Jeff Sears.
Defensively, Colville showed strong effort across the field, with goalkeeper Tristan Otter turning in a solid performance to help secure the victory.
Colville returned home Thursday, April 2, to face Medical Lake and dropped a narrow 3-2 decision in a back-and-forth matchup. The Hawks remained competitive throughout, with Stewart and Kayson Dupuis each scoring a goal.
Rarrick assisted on Dupuis’ score, while Connor Schneider and Sackman contributed strong two-way efforts, impacting both the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.
The Hawks bounced back in dramatic fashion Friday, April 3, earning a 4-3 overtime win over Soap Lake in one of their most thrilling performances of the season. Colville fell behind 3-0 early in the second half before mounting a relentless comeback. Stewart sparked the rally with a goal in the 53rd minute off an assist from Collin Schaefer. Rarrick followed with a goal in the 73rd minute, assisted by Stewart, cutting the deficit to one. Connor Schneider tied the match in the 79th minute, sending the game into overtime. After continued pressure in extra time, Sam Sears delivered the game-winning goal in the second overtime period.
Colville controlled much of the action statistically, outshooting Soap Lake 19-13 in the contest. Otter was instrumental in the goal, recording 10 saves to keep the Hawks within striking distance during the comeback.
