Colville Girls Golf Wins At The Plains

Colville’s girls golf team won the NEA League Match No. 2 at The Plains Golf Course in the West Plains, while the Crimson Hawks boys placed second in their league match earlier in the week.

The Colville girls finished first on April 22 with a team score of 398. Medical Lake was second at 446, followed by Riverside at 477, and Lakeside at 483.

Jaycee Zhu led Colville with a second-place finish, shooting a 94. Grey Rainer tied for third with a 98, while Ashley Miller placed fifth with a 100. Ella Visser added a sixth-place finish with a 106.

Medical Lake’s Madison Griffis was the individual medalist with a 76.

The Colville boys placed second on April 21, finishing with a team score of 440. Lakeside won the boys match with a 433. Riverside was third at 465 and Medical Lake placed fourth at 518.

Cooper Flugel led the Crimson Hawks boys, winning the individual title with an 82. Luke Strite and Ben Mitchell tied for sixth with rounds of 87, while Sam Bruce placed 10th with an 89.

Alex Gaynor shot a 95 to place 14th, and Vincent Fazzari finished 20th with a 108.
