Hall Named Kettle Falls Town Grouch

It’s official: the grouchiest citizen of Kettle Falls is Valerie Hall. The Town Grouch honor was

awarded to Hall Friday, June 5, at the Town and Country Days festival at the main stage on Myers

Street.

During a break from live music, the four contenders waited anxiously for the announcement. The

other nominees were Amy Louis, Gary Bruder, and Jerrad Crandall.

Despite the huge grin on winner Hall’s face, the newest Town Grouch is obligated to be as grouchy

as possible for the next year.
