The Rotary Club of Colville's Irish Hooley fundraiser.
The Rotary Club of Colville hosted their annual Irish Hooley fundraiser on March 21 at the Spokane Community College, Colville Campus where approximately 200 people attended. Rotary Foundation Chair President-Elect Kelli Lippert said the event was “fun and entertaining,” full of dancing from both the Haran School of Irish Dance students and attendees. Lippert said that, while they are still counting the money they raised from the dinner and the auction items, she feels confident they achieved their goal of $10,000. “I’m fairly certain we made over that,” she said. According to Lippert, the funds raised from the event will go toward supporting other local organizations such as the Colville Valley Animal Sanctuary and Colville High School’s Interact club. Funds will also go toward sustaining Rotary initiatives such as providing local scholarships and the annual giving tree. Publisher photo.
