Beverly Carol Widmyer

Beverly Carol Widmyer, age 86, passed away on February 18, 2026 in Colville, WA. Beverly was born on September 7, 1939 in Davenport, WA the daughter of Lawrence and Verla Verna (Sterett) Lawson. 

She grew up and attended school in Davenport, WA where she would start a life defined by hard work and creativity. On Juy 4, 1959, Bev married Larry Widmyer, beginning a partnership that would span 42 years. In 1975, the couple moved back to Colville. Four years later, they turned their entrepreneurial spirit into reality, when they opened Bev's Creations out of their home on Monumental Mountain. The business grew into Bev & Larry's upholstery shop which remained open until Larry's passing on May 10, 2001. 

In her quiet hours, Bev found joy in crocheting, puzzles, and reading. She had a gift for making things with her hands. 

Bev was preceded in death by husband, Larry Widmeyer; parents, Lawrence and Verla; siblings, Neede, Cliff, and Tudy and Claire Lawson, Bud and Louise and Janette. 

She is survived by her two daughters; Linda Ochs and her husband, Jeff Ochs of Colville, WA, and Carol Fox and her husband, Scott Dannenbring, OR; grandchildren, Jessie Ochs, Jenny Ochs, Travis and Leilah, Trevor and Ashley, Triston and Olivea Fox; seven siblings, Ardie, Nancy, Shari, Rhonda, Mel, Del...
