Kasey Hegney
N/A
Sep 17, 1964
-
Kasey was born alongside his twin brother Tracy in Colville Washington on September 17, 1964 to Emma (Barden) and Dave Hegney. As a child and through his adulthood he enjoyed hunting, boating and fishing especially with family.
After graduating in 1982, he started working at the Jolly Roger in Addy as a cook and after a while he got a job at Boise Cascade. In 1986 he married his high school sweetheart Rhonda Betteridge and together they had his 1st son Shawn. He was a proud dad even before his birth. In 1992 he married Michelle Bosequett and together he had 2 more sons, Ryan and Terry. His excitement for 2 more children filled his heart and you could see it all over his face for each one of them. He worked for ABM for years which he enjoyed with his coworkers and one of his sisters. Once ABM moved out of the area, he started working at Westside Pizza saving money from each check and eventually saved enough to open his own Westside Pizza in Kettle Falls in 2009. Due to his health, he retired early and sold his store.
If you know Kasey, you know Cherry kool-aid was his choice of drink and rock music couldn’t be played loud enough.
He is preceded in death by his parents Emma Fowlkes and Dave Hegney along with sisters Jessica Miller and Alisa Hegney. He is survived by sons Shawn Hegney of Spokane, Ryan Hegney and Terry Hegney of Colville; sisters Victoria Pell, Belinda Herriman; brothers Les (Susan), Marshall Hegney, Robin (Lisa) Hegney, Russel (Suzette) Hegney, Tracy (Suzanne) Hegney and Jody Fowlkes along with numerous nephews and nieces. He was also supported by friends that became family to him.
Memorial service is May 16th at 1:00 Colville Grange followed with a Celebration of Life.
Memorial contributions may be given to St Jude’s; this is a Charity very close to Kasey’s heart.
